With an accredited degree or certificate from a vocational program you can become a Feng Shui Consultant and train to harmonize a variety of spaces. Interior designers learn to use the art of Feng Shui to create a peaceful and practical space for their clients to live or work in. Feng Shui Institute International (FSII) is an organization that offers membership to promote continued education to Feng Shui practitioners.
Interior Design
Interior designers work in a variety of settings to enhance the look and functionality of interior living spaces. Interior designers are trained to select lighting, furniture, artwork, window coverings, and other decorative items to create a more pleasing look to the space. Vocational programs offer students classes in drawing,
architecture, furniture design, ergonomics, and blueprint reading, while teaching them to work with electricians, architects, building contractors, and other professionals. As a professional interior designer you will be able to design, sketch, shop for, and accessorize living spaces based on the clients' specific desires. The NCIDQ, otherwise known as the National Council Interior Design Qualification provides licensing exams for graduates to become registered or licensed interior designers.
