Dental Professional With an accredited education in the health care field you can train for an exciting career as a dental assistant or dental hygienist. There is a variety of vocational schools and other educational programs available to those who wish to work as a dental professional.

Students can obtain a diploma or certificate and depending on the state may be required to obtain a license or registration prior to working. Dental Hygienist

With an associates, bachelors, or masters degree and state license in dental hygiene you can prepare for an exciting career in the medical field. There are a number of accredited educational programs available to students looking to train for a profession as a dental hygienist. Coursework may be included is anatomy, chemistry, pharmacology, radiology, peridontology, physiology, microbiology, nutrition, and dental materials. With a career as a dental hygienist you will work carving filling material, removing sutures, cleaning and polishing teeth, extracting teeth, and many other related tasks.
